Are Ukrainians able to work in the Netherlands?

Everyone who falls under the Temporary Protection Directive of the European Union can work in the Netherlands without a work permit (in Dutch: tewerkstellingsvergunning). This means that JobXion does not have to request a work permit for You, and can offer You an employment contract.

You must meet the following requirements:

• You are in possession of a Ukranian passport, or has a valid permanent Ukrainian residence permit.
• You fall under the Temporary Protection Directive. You are registered at the local council (gemeente) if You come under the directive. Therefore, You are in possession of a burgerservicenummer (Dutch social security number).
• You have proof of residency showing that You are allowed to be in the Netherlands. As proof, You will receive a sticker or card from the IND (usually in Your passport).
• It is important that You have the letter about the extension of Your proof of residency.
